It started raining here at about 1 yesterday afternoon and by 7 this morning we had measured over 140ml of rain. This is my yard, the road out the front is covered in water and the creek out the back is flooded. (It doesn't get anywhere near us though) We measured about 150ml of rain on Thursday so in a few days we have had a LOT of rain. We aren't too badly off compared to a lot of other areas in Victoria and NSW where there are homes being flooded.

As usual Fred has managed to get in a post. He has been paddling in the yard all morning making me even more convinced that he is either not really a cat or just plain stupid!
I hope everyone is staying dry and safe during this unseasonal wet week.

We've had a total of about 160mm all up this week Even though we are on a creek, we don't get all the water laying around like you do. Glad you are high and dry.

Hi Jackie,

I'm glad you're all OK at your place. We've had a lot of rain here too. Poor Fred, he must be wondering who took his yard and replaced it with a 'river'??? Otherwise, it's his inner tiger coming out! lol Great pic and take care in this wet weather! Barb x

So much rain! send a little this way, we haven't seen any for months & the temp is still in the high 30's everyday, so sick of it.

wow, I hope you stay dry indoors.
I have never seen a cat walking in water like that, strange puddy-cat!
