Better with age.

Every time we travel to Gippsland we pass this old farm shed just before the turn off to Omeo and for ages we have been saying we must get a photo before it falls down. My Camera was handy when we traveled over there last weekend so I finally stopped and got the photo.  There is just something about old farm buildings isn't there? The windows with there tiny panes, the weathered timber and the rusty tin all blend to give it a personality. The old wooden fences look so much better than the wire and steel posts of today.
There to the side is another bit of a shed and the outdoor dunny which has started to lean forward a bit. I'm sure you'll agree that anything that is built today won't age like this and develop the charm of these old buildings.

Hi Jackie,
What a lovely old shed- it has so much character! It reminds me of my childhood playing on my Grandparents' farms. BTW, I wonder if we've also seen this shed in our travels... as we lived in country VIC in '94-'97. A great pic, Jackie and I'm glad you had a lovely break away too! :) Barb x

Hey Jack :o)
I love old sheds, rusty tin, barbed wire, anything old really and what better place to find them then in the country, you are so right today's buildings just wont have the charm that these old building will have as they age, lucky us for living with them, in them and loving them.
XOXO
