In My Garden Today......

The vegie garden has been turned once in preparation for planting in late Spring, early Summer. Sometimes we have frosts right up to the end of October so nothing goes in too early.
We have two of these Thrush in our garden. They are very very quiet and the cats think they are easy prey. Turns out they aren't that easy to catch because the Wagtails always seems to be around to protect them. Fred has been on the end of a tongue lashing more times than he can count from the resident Willy Wagtails!
Now that Winter draws to a close we are seeing more and more birds returning to the garden.
As the afternoon passes and the sun begins to drop behind the Mountain, the fog prepares to roll in on us again. It is already freezing cold outside but at least with a Fog we won't have a Frost in the morning!

I agree, lovely pics. Yum, home-grown veggies that will be great! The Wrens are just gorgeous! We are very lucky to have such beautiful birds visit our gardens. BTW, I hope the Willy Wagtail keeps thwarting Fred's plans... Barb x
