My Place and Yours this week is 'My Pincushion". I made this one years ago just to have a go at 'Cathedral Window' and used it ever since. I have NEVER done any more Cathedral Window though as it was far too fiddly and time consuming! Recently it has been put into retirement and I just use a small plastic container for my pins.
This is one of a pair I made for my Website and decided I liked it enough to keep it.
And this one is purely decorative, given to me by a very dear friend a few years ago.

Oh I love the birdie one! I have a couple of purely decorative pincushions too, I'll have to include them in my post.
I would be no good just keeping my pins in a container; I would spill them everywhere, all the time, I just know it!
Thanks for joining in Jackie, is it rainy today where you are too? It's positively dreary here!
Oooo they're gorgeous Jackei, love the boot most. I'd need a magnetic tin, I'm way too clumsy. Love your post :)
Love that birdie one... I made the same one for a friend a year ago and it was very difficult to part with. Love your cathedral window pincushion too.. I did a class to make a small quilt in cathedral windows... and ended up making a bag.. he he... yes much too time consuming!!!
Love that little bluebird! I'm aiming to have a pincushion collection (Sarah Fielke has a great display).
Lovely collection Jackie. Beenenjoying your garden pics also xxx
Nice idea to make a pincushion from a new technique. That may be the only way I'd every get to do cathedral windows...and bargello...
You have lots of lovely pincushions , a girl can never have too many !
oh gosh yes that birdy one is very cute!
love the boot. And I love your country shots too.
Oh the birdie sure is pretty!
oh they are all lovely-I do love the birdie.
You got farther than I did making a Cathedral windows. I never thought about turning my square into something useful though. I may have to think about it.
