The movie chronicles a woman's alcoholism and her husbands efforts to help her. Stars Meg Ryan and Andy Garcia.

It's a real shame that so few people have seen When a Man Loves a Woman because it's one of Meg Ryan's best films, in my opinion her performance was worthy of an Academy Award.
I think I may have seen snippets of this. Really showed Meg Ryan could do more than the romantic comedy.
I can't believe I haven't seen this, although I haven't seen many Meg Ryan films, or Andy Garcia films, for that matter. I always follow up on high recommendations though, so I'll put this on my to-do list! xx
