MY Place and Yours-Tins at my Place

Cherie has chosen tins as the theme this week and she asks us to.....
Drag out anything that is tin...
give us a glimpse of thins or something in a tin at your place...
let your imagination run wild...
paint tins, food tins...

So that's what I did......In the kitchen.
 And in the sewing room.
 Use before Sep 6 1945. Has anyone else seen a use by stamp as old as this one?
I assume this is a lid but I have no idea what it was on.
So I seem to have quite a few Tins at my house, another collection I didn't realise that I had. i do have a few more Tins around the place but I thought that this was enough for today. All of them are used for something, except the really rust ones.
Do you have tins at your house? Share them with us here.

Wow, you HAVE got some great tin Jackie! What is it about it that tigs at the heartstrings? Is it because everything nowadays is plastic? It would be interesting to find out what the Willow top was for/from! ~*~Lisa

If that Willow tin lid is what I think it is then it is a rubbish bin lid! As a kid I always loved the Willow design and fingered it as I put the bin out once a week. It was my job...bleurgh!

Fantastic tins Jackie. I especially love the stacked ones labelled cakes, biscuits, pastry...they take me back to my grandparents farm at Woodstock...such happy memories.
Thanks for the look at your lovely tin collections!
