After only three and a half years the fence is going up that will keep the dogs in the back yard and off the road. Apparently it is going up in a temporary sort of way and will get fixed up later with a top rail. and in some parts, proper wooden posts. I can see this being the permanent fence, because later doesn't seem to happen very often.
Spring has arrived with the trees putting on their spring coats
The daffodils blooming along the drive
And the wild ducks grazing in the paddocks around the house. Somewhere along the creek will be nests!

Looks like you've got wood ducks that have the peculiar habit of nesting in trees, so you need to look up for nests. So exciting to have spring on our doorstep.
Our wood ducks have arrived here in SA too, love having them around.
